Each year the Lions Organ & Eye Bank conducts the Diabetic Awareness Essay Contest This year the subject of the contest is "Education, Prevention and Detection and Treatment - Type 2 Diabetes" The contest will take place at the Mid Winter Conference District Scholarship Awards are - 1st Place - $1500.00 2nd Place - $1000.00 3rd Place - $500.00 The 1st place winner is expected to compete at the State Level for further Scholarship Awards.
